The parable of the stewards is one of the most challenging to the church and to Christians.  It reveals who is faithful and who is not.  All of us have been on both sides of this equation—sometimes acting in great faith and at other times allowing fear to take over.  As we delve into what Jesus is sharing, we begin to see how often we get confused, acting in fear instead of faith.  The parable also encourages and gives us the freedom to venture, risk, and involve ourselves in creating the grace needed for our world.  I hope you will spend a few moments before the service reading the parable found in Matthew 25:14-30.  We will examine the fearful steward before we examine the faithful stewards.

After the Service, we need to have a short business meeting to vote on the church budget for 2018.
