The questioning of Jesus continues, but he also asks a questions, which Sunday’s messages consider. What we learn is how hard it is to think in terms that are spiritual, eternal or heavenly. We have no reference in our world for what Jesus asks. We are time bound and think chronologically. How does one think eternally? All our lives, we have been thinking in predictable ways. Jesus introduces an idea that skips through generations and back again. Jesus reveals, “Nothing is impossible with God.” All of us would acknowledge this, but it is hard to grasp and apply to our day and age.
